Mobile team of lawyers works in Osječko-baranjska County and Vukovarsko-srijemska County:

  • Camp for displaced persons "Naselje prijateljstva" in Čepin
  • Beli Manastir

  • Negoslavci

Other locations: if necessary and upon client’s call, the mobile team goes on site on the territory of the afore-mentioned counties (including Gunja, Babina Greda, Županja, Đakovo, Vukovar, Ilok, Negoslavci, Donjih Miholjac, Belišće…)

Who is the help intended for?
refugees, returnees, displaced persons and local citizens who have difficulties in realization of their basic human and civic rights in the following categories

  • status rights (citizenship, stay permit, residence, personal documents, subsequent registration in state institutions);
  • property rights (obligatory rights, property, renting, hereditary rights)
  • tenancy rights
  • working rights
  • pension rights
  • convalidation
  • reconstruction
  • health insurance and health protection
  • social rights
  • violations and offences
  • incidents and threats
  • family, women’s and children’s rights

"Law for everyone" is legal aid for socially handicapped citizens

Purpose:
Through direct work with clients, giving free legal advice, legal aid, monitoring of changes in the law and of court trials, representation in the court our wish is to contribute to the development of a just and democratic society for all citizens of RC.

Activities:
The Project has been conducted since 1993 on several locations in the war-affected area of Eastern Croatia: Osijek, Beli Manastir, and Vinkovci; until recently we had field offices in Tenja and Dalj. Now we cover the area of the Osijek-Baranja County and the Vukovar-Srijem County with mobile teams. So far we rendered our services in more than 37 000 cases, we dealt with the problems of more than 36 000 clients. We inform the state institutions and UNHCR about the observed problems and the condition of human rights. We implement joint campaigns and public actions with other groups for human rights.
