Trial against Ivica Pintarić for the war crime against civilians under Article 120, paragraph 1 of the OKZRH.

INDICTMENT (SUMMARY)

The indictment no. K-DO-312/10 of 3 February 2012 issued by the Zagreb ŽDO charges defendant Ivica Pintarić that in his capacity as member of HV Independant Sniper Company, in the village near Mrkonjić Grad in the Republic of Bosnia and Hercegovina on not precisely determined day during September and October 1995, he entered the house where he found two unidentified persons, a man and a woman, and killed them on the spot by firing several shots from automatic "Kalashnikov" rifle and therefore he committed a war crime against civilians referred to in Article 120, paragraph 1 of the OKZRH.

JUDGMENT

On 9 May 2012, the Zagreb County Court's War Crimes Council pronounced a judgement according to which defendant Pintarić, pursuant to Article 354, point 3 (it has not been proven that he committed a criminal offence as charged), is acquitted.
