Appellate session of the Council of the VSRH was held on 20 October 2010. The VSRH upheld the first instance verdict.
INDICTMENT (SUMMARY)
The defendant was charged that in October and November 1991, as a member of the 180th motorised brigade of the 9th JNA Corps, he himself and together with Slavko Đokić, member of the same unit, intimidated Croats in Zemunik Gornji and Jagodna Donja with the purpose of forcing them to leave their homes and the territory of the so-called RSK by plundering civilian population and destroying their property.

VERDICT
On 15 March 2010, the Zadar County Court pronounced a verdict in which the defendant Nedjeljko Janković was found guilty (on all counts of the indictment) and sentenced to 6 years in prison. This prison sentence included the period of his time of arrest from 12 August 2008 until 22 April 2009, his time spent in detention from 22 April 2009 onwards, and two years of his time serving the prison sentence in Valjevo prison based on the Banja Luka Military Court's ruling of 23 March 1992.
Detention against the defendant was extended.
